I. General Summary Under general administrative direction, the Manager of Clinical Nursing Education is accountable for the design and implementation of clinical nursing education programs within Patient Care Services which supports the strategic plan of the organization and achieves clinical, financial and service quality objectives. II. Principal Responsibilities and Tasks The following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by the person assigned to this classification. They are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of all job duties performed by personnel so classified. - Leads a team of Professional Development Coordinators to develop, coordinate, and implement, and evaluate education systems for care delivery and clinical services which meets clinical, financial and service quality objectives.
- In collaboration with clinical and administrative leadership, assesses education requirements for care delivery systems to meet changing patient population requirements. Plans education strategies and services to meet clinical objectives.
