The Role
The Staff Technical Consultant (TC) is responsible for participating in a technical team through the deployment of a Contender Solutions project in ServiceNow. The Staff TC works with the Solutions Architect (SA) and Project Manager (PM) to configure ServiceNow according to the project scope and Contender best practices.

Responsibilities include:

• Understand industry and ServiceNow best practices.


• Understand Contender products and service offerings.


• Participate in the implementation of delivery projects, including:




• Gathering requirements from the client


• Participating in design development with the Solutions Architect


• Implementing requirements defined in Agile stories and tasks

Required Skills and Professional Experience 

• At least 1 year of experience as an administrator or developer of the ServiceNow platform


• Ability to develop on the ServiceNow platform including configuration and customization


• Strong JavaScripting experience


• Strong interpersonal and communications skills

Preferred Skills and Professional Experience 

• Experience with the ITIL framework


• Experience explaining ServiceNow solutions to business stakeholders


• Knowledge of Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, Workflow/Flow Designer, Table/Form creation, etc.


• Experience with Agile methodology (including story refinement, testing, and scrum)


• ServiceNow System Admin Certification


• ServiceNow Implementation Specialist Certification
