Sr Manager, Retention Marketing - Beyond Yoga

Quality, inclusivity, and attention to detail aren't just catch phrases for us, we apply them to everything we do inside the company walls and out.</p><p></p><p>The people we hire are, like us: passionate • inclusive • honest • warm • focused • curious • enthusiastic • and fun!</p><p></p><p><b>About the Job</b></p><p></p><p>The Senior Manager, Retention Marketing will oversee retention marketing for Beyond Yoga and focus on maximizing customer lifetime value through email marketing, mobile messaging, and website optimization. In this role, you will report to the Vice President of Ecommerce.</p><p></p><p><b>What you'll do</b></p><ul><li><p>Create, optimize, and evolve retention strategies to maximize customer lifetime value</p></li><li><p>Lead all marketing communication efforts through email and mobile marketing channels</p></li><li><p>Develop a robust, best-in-class email marketing program designed to drive engagement and sales through triggered, transactional and marketing communications</p></li><li><p>Identify key customer segments and attributes, and tailor campaigns to maximize LTV based on the audience</p></li><li><p>Own and drive growth of email and mobile databases</p></li><li><p>Balance profitability and customer LTV through consistent improvement on the site experience and a laser-focus on customer satisfaction</p></li><li><p>Maintain and evolve a robust A/B testing framework and consumer insight feedback loop to validate and drive key business decisions and the overall consumer experience</p></li><li><p>Partner closely with customer acquisition and direct mail teams to maximize full funnel conversion efforts</p></li><li><p>Share creative wins and opportunities with creative/brand teams, and partner on a consistent testing plan across all key content components (subject lines, email layout, CTA placement, etc.)</p></li><li><p>Report and analyze campaign performance on a daily, weekly and monthly basis; develop insights and make recommendations for action and opportunities</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Who you are</b></p><ul><li><p>An exceptional communicator and collaborator. You're effective at influencing cross-functional teams and can articulate your thoughts to everyone from individual contributors to top executives</p></li><li><p>Self-directed and results-oriented. You love to exceed goals and take on new projects</p></li><li><p>Data driven with a consumer-first focus. You have a strong track record of leveraging analytics to provide strategic recommendations and drive growth for direct-to-consumer products or services</p></li><li><p>Adaptable and ambitious. You enthusiastically take on other assignments when needed to support your team</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>What you'll need</b></p><ul><li><p>5+ years of retention marketing experience in an e-commerce business</p></li><li><p>Solid background in email and mobile marketing, business analytics, website analytics and optimization</p></li><li><p>Working proficiency with Klaviyo or similar EMS platform</p></li><li><p>Experience must include analytics-based decision-making where success is measured in terms of customer growth and lifetime value</p></li><li><p>Results-oriented, innovative self-starter with track record of excellent results in a fast-growth environment</p></li><li><p>Experience with leading-edge ecommerce segmentation methodologies and their respective role in marketing communications</p></li><li><p>Forward-thinking, marketing/business development-focused individual with a solutions-forward approach</p></li><li><p>Proven ability to consume and interpret data, work with decision analysts to get to clear results and analysis</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Benefits</b></p><p></p><p>We put a lot of thought into our programs to provide you with a benefits package that matters.
