Technology Operations Analyst

About this role:

In this role, you will:

  • Participate in initiatives and identify opportunities for technology operations
  • Evaluate basic or tactical challenges that require research and evaluation
  • Provide centralized command and control for major incident management, ensuring teams focus first on restoring business services
  • Review, analyze and escalate issues from key metric analysis, event monitors, reported service deviations, and documented changes
  • Develop knowledge business cycles and capabilities to assess the impact of technology events on the business and other support areas
  • Reduce the impact of application and infrastructure failures on business delivery
  • Engage various teams of trouble-shooters to assess system health and issues
  • Present recommendations for resolving more complex situations
  • Provide information to functional colleagues, internal partners and stakeholders


Required Qualifications, US:

  • 2+ years of Technology Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 2+ years of deskside support experience
  • 2+ years of experience supporting Windows 10 OS
  • 2+ years of experience supporting Microsoft Office products
  • 2+ years of customer service experience
  • Intermediate troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with Windows
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization


Required Qualifications, International:

  • Experience in Technology Operations, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Intermediate troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • 2+ years of experience in production supporting, including problem identification, ticket documentation, and customer/vendor relations, demonstrated through work, military, or education
  • 2+ years of experience using ticket tracking tools for change management, problem and incident management, and availability management, demonstrated through work, military, or education
  • Ability to direct and oversee escalated technical troubleshooting and complex analysis efforts for prompt recovery of major issues
  • Experience supporting Citrix infrastructure and hosted applications
  • Experience working in a large enterprise environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of Information Technology customer service or help desk
  • Knowledge and understanding of desktop and Windows server operating systems
  • Knowledge and understanding of MS Active Directory as well as complementary tools
  • Experience supporting Virtual environments:  Citrix/VMWare
  • Experience providing implementation and troubleshooting support for systems on the WFDC Platform
  • Expert level PC hardware, application, and OS problem solving skills with focus on results and accountability.
  • Knowledge of and experience with Wells Fargo Information Security policies and procedures. 
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills and proven ability to work with a wide array of internal customers.
  • Ability to work independently with a sense of urgency and collaborate well in a team environment.
  • Ability to travel to provide support at multiple locations within the Los Angeles county areas and work overtime as needed.
  • Solid understanding of Field Technology Services (FTS) processes for Project, Service Request Implementation and Break/fix support
     


Job Expectations:

  • Ability to travel to multiple offices located in the Los Angeles county area
  • Ability to travel up to 90% of the time
  • Ability to work outside of regular business hours
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs of equipment
