About us
Albany Community Charter School prepares students for a lifetime of opportunity by helping them master primary rigorous, standards-based curriculum focused on literacy and other foundational knowledge. By aligning the efforts of all members of the school community — student, parent, teacher, principal, board, and civic organizations - we dramatically increase the chances students will be prepared to succeed when they move on to middle school, high school, college, and into the workforce. P.R.O.M.I.S.E Values
ACCS infuses its core values into all aspect of student life. Each month students learn the meaning of each core value and how to apply them to their success in school and life: The PROMISE values are Perseverance, Respect, Optimism, Motivation, Integrity, Self-discipline, and Excellence. Our PROMISE values are displayed in every classroom, and reinforced daily as well as in our weekly and monthly assemblies in order to build character in our students.

The Albany Community Charter School is seeking experienced NYS certified applicants for all core subjects:
ELA, Math, Social Studies, Science
Interested candidates must have the appropriate certification (Urban experience and knowledge of the Common Core a must).
